After the May general meeting, members who participated in the NCN Round Robin shared their results.  If was fun to see the quilt tops created with this group of guild members.

Then members shared their Show and Tell projects as well as quilts for community service.  We always have wonderful and creative projects.  It's always inspiring to see what our members will create next!

After show and tell and a quick break we enjoyed a zoom presentation by Patricia Belyea who lives in Washington state.  Patricia and her daughter Victoria are owners of Okan Arts.  Their West Coast business imports vintage textiles from Japan, runs quilting workshops and lead tours to Japan. https://okanarts.com/ .  Patricia's talk centered on "Spirit Quilts".  Patricia has created many unique quilts using clothing items celebrating or mourning the life of loved ones.  It was a very interesting talk and opened our minds to more possibilities of creating memory quilts in the future.
