Ohio Quilts
Explore Ohio’s rich history in the KSU Museum. This exhibit features an eclectic
group of historical quilts, reflecting a variety of techniques including applique, piecework, crazy quilts, whitework and embroidery!

Aug. 22-24 Quilter’s Gathering in Berlin

Our Event will kick off Thursday, August 22 with classes and a Bolt Blow-Out! You
can purchase fabric from our vendors for $5.00 a yard and fat quarters for just a buck!
This year, we are pre-selling tickets for 2 time slots – 6 to 6:45 and 7 to 8. The ticket
also gets you a free ice cream for our social. All you need to decide is what topping to
put on your ice cream!!
Friday morning, we are pleased to have Moda designer, Sherri McConnell from A
Quilting Life present her trunk show and lecture. Joining her will be Corey Yoder. Later, both Sherri and Corey will be having a book signing for their joint book “Sunday
Best”. Get your copy reserved by going to the Shop page on the website. Sherri will also have two classes – projects from “Sunday Best.”
Our Vendor Mall opens on Friday morning. You can purchase Sherri and Corey’s fabric, threads and patterns. Plus, you’ll have a chance to meet with shop owners, shop
their booths, watch demonstrations and be inspired.
On Saturday, The Christ Collection will give a lecture and trunk show with their fabulous quilts from the 30’s. This is an outstanding husband and wife team from Pennsylvania. You will not want to miss this highly educational event.

Shwallon, Dee Hart and Plaid Sheep Company.

Event.

Ticket includes entry to the Gathering Stitches event (held at the Heritage Community
Center in Winesburg) where you will enjoy fresh, locally made donuts, coffee, and a 10
minute demo from each participating shop, featuring 5 different easy-to-make projects.
You will receive a free gift and 20% discount coupon* for each shop! After the demo,
gather your friends and head out to the participating shops for some shopping and take a
closer look at the projects that were demonstrated. Each shop will have kits and patterns
available for purchase.
