April 2024 meeting

April brought an abundance of community service projects that the members completed.  The quilts had designs from the simple to the sophisticated.  All the quilts were created with love.  We all have so many ways to help those around us and so many members that participate in creating of quilts, pillowcases and dog beds that we share with those less fortunate

in the Cleveland area.

After our meeting and community service quilt parade, the members got their chance to share the  projects that they have been creating.  We had bags ,notebooks, quilts and more that were embroidered, painted, hand stitched and sewn.  So many wonderful ideas and pieces that were completed by our creative members.

After a quick break we were entertained by our guest speaker Barbara Richardson. Barbara has many years of experience with color through her career with paint companies.  Barbara now has her own business, Emerald and Violet Studio in Olmsted Falls. She shared with us how color can affect our mood by changing the room color or just a few elements in the room.
