January 2025 Meeting

We are back and ready to sew and socialize for the new year!  It was great to see smiling faces and folks eager to create fun and beautiful projects as well as produce community service projects of quilts, dog beds, pillowcases and more.  We had a quick meeting to take care of business and then off to show and tell!

After the meeting we welcomed our guest,  Heidi Massingill,  local dressmaker, designer, costumer, tailor, fiber artist, modern quilter and more!  Heidi walked us through her journey of sewing.  Heidi has inspired many sewists of all ages and inspired our guild with her many wonderful modern takes on quilting.  It was a joy to hear her story!

Quilt Vendor weekend April 25 -27

Farmpark presents one of Ohio’s finest quilt shows with up to 200 quilts

and quilt-related works on display. Includes a judged show of quilts com-

pleted by regional artists from Northeast Ohio and neighboring states.

Show visitors can vote for the People’s Choice award. Quilt workshops offered with preregistration.
