Paradise in Bloom Quilt Show Tree City Quilters’ Guild will be hosting their “Paradise in Bloom” quilt show. The quilt show will be held on April 20, 2018 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and April 21, 2018 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. (Please note the quilt show hours are different for each day.) Paula Golden at Quilters’ Legacy of Lakewood Paula Golden is an internationally known quilter and teacher. Selected as “2001 Teacher of the Year” by Professional Quilter Magazine, Paula Golden relishes sharing the history, techniques and art of quilting with students of all ages. She will present the lecture Hawaiian Quilting, Explore the art, traditions and history at the May 1st meeting at 7:00 pm at Westshore Unitarian Church, 20410 Hilliard Blvd. Rocky River OH. Cost: $5.00 at the door
Paula will also present two workshops. The first is Feathered Star on May 2nd. This is followed on May 3rd with Wonderful Watercolors. A Quilter’s Day Out hosted by Ohio Star Quilters The Ohio Star Quilters from Howland Ohio will present “A Quilter’s Day Out” Event on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The location is DiViesta Banquet Hall, 754 North River Road NW, Warren, Ohio 44483. We will have Coffee and Rolls, a Program, Luncheon and Quilt show. Speaker will be Corey Yoder with a trunk show.
